dry shampoo

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say dry shampoo has become a daily essential, but going through a can every week is ludicrous. Batiste clearly agree and has solved the problem with a can that’s double the size but not the cost. Now that’s what I call good beauty sense.

halloween

I was a zombie last year for halloween, thought I'd show you a picture. Other than high fashion make-up, casualty/special effects is also my favourite.

Even though this isn't a professional picture (taken at the end of the night so the make-up isn't as perfect as it was at the beginning of the night haha) I still wanted to upload it to show you guys other make-up looks I've done for fancy dress party's, for halloween on either myself, my boyfriend, friends etc.

this guy is my total inspiration. I've watched his work progress incredibly over the past 4 years and I have to admit this is still my all time favourite piece.

for you

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.

Meadham Kirchhoff

wow hahah!! these are amazingggg!!

If ever there was a reason to be cheerful, it was Meadham Kirchhoff's show. It was pantomime fantasy – think white bubble wigs, neon lips and glitter – mixed with the Magic Roundabout in a nursery rhyme mix up: clownish platforms of layered glittery rubber and frills let the models stomp around in pompom dresses of ostrich feather, big rhinestone knickers, cardigans smothered in hearts and dollies and apron dresses featuring teddy bear faces.

Yay

Been on here for one week and had 700 hits woohoo thanks everybody!!

Be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. In the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. Max Ehrmann

House of Dereon

London Fashion Week launches Beyoncé and mother Miss Tina Knowles's brand, House of Deréon. Beyonce's make-up artist Francesca Tolot, the look was "global nomad". Miss Tina explained that their vision was a girl "living in an apocalyptic world after a natural disaster, with a new race of people all living as one united culture". With a look this fierce, what a wonderful world that would be.

Mary Katrantzou

"Man meets machine meets mother earth, an army of petal, metal, print," But it wasn't chaotic, it was exquisite - neatly fitted cocktail dresses featuring every possible print in one sweep of fabric.
If mismatched prints are a firm feature of spring/summer 2012 already, then Katrantzou's the undisputed ringleader of them, some of hers exaggerated by seed pearl outlines, encrusted with contrasting patches of jewels or beset with panels of iridescence to enliven them even more.
