flower baby
I didn't really know what I wanted to do for this shoot, I had a pink wig I wanted to use and the rest just came together but I did know I wanted her to look a bit like a flower baby. I do always try and do something quirky and unusual with my work, but still keep a high fashion vibe to whatever I do. I was so so pleased with the finished pictures and still am, this is probably my favourite photo from my portfolio.

gucci 2010 campaign
Gucci campaign back in 2010 "poolside-chic" the left hand side of this picture is up on my bedroom wall. I'm so in love with the dress, it's amazing. So aswell as all the other bits and pieces I post, I thought I'd post some of my all time favourite editorial campaign pictures.
lots and lots and lots more to come haha.
hair inspiration
not that I would ever be able to do this with my mess of hair, I still love love love these images from new york fashion week.
This picture is one of my all time favourites from my portfolio of work, I had already designed this make-up the night before I decided to do it and to my surprise woke up in the morning and it had snowed. I think the snow makes this final picture even the more interesting. So that was rather lucky. I really love the colour palette in this picture and with the white snow it really makes the colours pop.

dry shampoo
I’m sure I’m not alone when I say dry shampoo has become a daily essential, but going through a can every week is ludicrous. Batiste clearly agree and has solved the problem with a can that’s double the size but not the cost. Now that’s what I call good beauty sense.

glam rock
Even though this isn't a professional picture (taken at the end of the night so the make-up isn't as perfect as it was at the beginning of the night haha) I still wanted to upload it to show you guys other make-up looks I've done for fancy dress party's, for halloween on either myself, my boyfriend, friends etc.
sleepingdust.blogspot.com
this guy is my total inspiration. I've watched his work progress incredibly over the past 4 years and I have to admit this is still my all time favourite piece.
Incredible
Incredible
for you
There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.
